Alpinestars Racing Absolute V2 este un costum integral de piele de ultimă generație, conceput pentru curse profesionale și purtat de cei mai rapizi piloți din MotoGP și WorldSBK pe circuit.
În plus față de construcția completă din piele de cangur, cu straturi duble în zonele cele mai expuse la abraziune, cum ar fi coatele, antebrațele, fesele, șoldurile și spatele, Racing Absolute V2 include și panouri de întindere cu Kevlar® în zona inghinală, antebrațe și subbrațe. Plasa Kevlar® legată oferă o rezistență crescută la tăiere, ruptură și abraziune, precum și o transferare redusă a căldurii către corpul pilotului în timpul alunecării pe asfalt. O altă inovație importantă în tehnologia materialelor în Racing Absolute V2 este utilizarea tehnologiei Composite Stretch Technology, A-CS®Tech, de la Alpinestars.
A-CS®Tech este integrat în întreg costumul pe lateralele toracelui, lamelele umerilor și zona superioară a genunchiului, înlocuind inserțiile originale de piele plisată. Materialul A-CS®Tech oferă o respirabilitate mai mare, confort și libertate de mișcare, având în același timp o greutate mai mică și un profil mai redus decât pielea plisată (inserțiile A-CS®Tech sunt aproximativ cu 9% mai ușoare decât cele din piele). În plus, costumul are inserții de piele plisată în partea inferioară a spatelui și în zonele cheie de flexibilitate ale costumului. A-CS®Tech prezintă o bună întindere, are o alungire de aproximativ 30%, și oferă o rezistență la rupere cu 248% mai mare decât fibrele standard de întindere pentru curse și cu 570% mai mare decât pielea.
Costumul tehnologic avansat Racing Absolute V2 are performanțe foarte comparabile cu pielea de cangur, cu rezultate chiar mai bune în teste de abraziune. Utilizarea A-CS®Tech reprezintă un progres remarcabil și o îmbunătățire în performanța de protecție a materialelor. Racing Absolute V2 include, de asemenea, material Matryx® pe partea inferioară a piciorului pentru reducerea greutății și respirabilitate. În partea interioară a brațelor, în zona inghinală, spatele picioarelor, guler și zona pieptului se află panouri de întindere cu Kevlar® care oferă o elasticitate mare pentru o libertate de mișcare sporită și un nivel mai înalt de protecție.
Construcția Racing Absolute V2 include și intariri de cusături Schoeller®-keprotec la coate și genunchi, protecții externe GP-DFS la umeri, genunchi și coate, noile protecții de umăr, coate, antebrațe și genunchi GP-R PRO CE de nivel 2 și protecții Bioflex de șold de nivel 1 în versiunea pentru curse. Costumul, cu tehnologia și protecția sa cuprinzătoare, stabilește un nou standard pentru echipamentul de curse profesional al Alpinestars.
Racing Absolute V2 este costumul de top Alpinestars pentru MotoGP.
