Ergonomically designed for all forms of road riding, the Nucleon PLASMA Back Protector with Strap has been engineered to be lightweight, breathable, comfortable and protective, and features an embedded Nucleon PLASMA long back protector with a composite semi-rigid thermoplastic central spinal zone on the outer for additional protection.
Key features
The Level 2 CE certified back protector is a composite construction and has a central semi-rigid thermoplastic zone on a Nucleon PLASMA back protector for greater impact force dispersion in a critical area.
The innovative PLASMA M design delivers maximum airflow and heat dissipation, and this M design is replicated on the strategically aligned semi-rigid zone for guaranteed unobstructed ventilation.
The soft tactile backing guarantees structural integrity of the protector by preventing any potential tearing.
Fully adjustable shoulder and fully adjustable waist straps for a truly customizable fit.
The shoulder straps are removable allowing the protector to be easily and quickly converted into a race-specific version.
Construction
PLASMA is constructed from USDA certified bio-based eco-friendly and sustainable impact absorbing material.
Ultra-comfortable soft and flexible Nucleon PLASMA viscoelastic compound delivers enhanced rider comfort.
Highly breathable due to the engineered structure and the channelled inner surface that allows air circulation.
Constructed with a soft tactile inner liner for additional rider comfort.
The super lightweight back protector is developed in three waist-to-shoulder dimensions to cover all body sizes.
The adjustable side straps are equipped with a V-configuration to ensure the back protector has a performance fit that follows the curvature of the spine.
