Tech-Air® Off-Road este un sistem airbag omologat FIM, conceput special pentru a face față condițiilor extreme din rally și pentru a oferi o protecție fără egal a părții superioare a corpului. Dezvoltat și testat încă din 2017 în cele mai dure condiții din Rally Dakar, cea mai dificilă competiție off-road din lume, sistemul oferă cea mai avansată tehnologie de protecție activă pentru riding off-road.
Cu airbagul activat, sistemul oferă protecție completă CE Level 1 pentru piept și spate, precum și protecție pentru umeri, gât și clavicule în cazul unui impact. Sistemul este integrat într-o geacă de protecție Alpinestars Off-Road, echipată cu protecții pasive: spate complet Level 1, protecții pentru membre și protecție completă pentru piept Level 2, oferind protecție suplimentară împotriva pietrelor, resturilor și obstacolelor întâlnite pe traseu.
Construit pentru orice tip de teren, sistemul vine preconfigurat cu 3 moduri de utilizare: ENDURO, RALLY și STREET, fiind potrivit atât pentru off-road, cât și pentru utilizare pe șosea.
Caracteristici principale :
Primul sistem airbag dedicat off-road din lume, cu 3 moduri de rulare: ENDURO, RALLY și STREET
Modurile pot fi schimbate în mers prin display-ul LED frontal sau prin aplicația Tech-Air®
Sistem cu dublu cartuș de gaz, care permite două declanșări separate ale airbagului
Doar un cartuș se activează la fiecare impact pentru a umfla întreg sistemul
Acces rapid la cartușe pentru înlocuire (acolo unde legislația permite intervenția utilizatorului)
Sistem complet autonom (fără senzori externi), cu:
3 accelerometre (inclusiv unul triaxial)
3 giroscoape (inclusiv unul triaxial)
